Series Title: Hemophilia unit records, l975-l983
Description: The hemophilia unit maintained administrative files of the unit supervisor who also served on the department's advisory committee on hemophilia. The files contain: hemophilia unit activities and fiscal reports and correspondence (l979, l982;) agenda, minutes, and correspondence of the advisory committee on hemophilia (l979-l982;) annual and site visit team reports, and fiscal records from the twelve hemophilia centers in Ohio (l976-l978, l98l;) disabled population and active hemophilia cases data (l975, l979;) hemophilia projects grant applications, questionnaires, assessment forms, correspondence, and reports (l982;) and handwritten notes from unit staff and annual meetings (l98l-l983,) and from a l983 symposium on aids and the treatment of hemophilia. Also contained in the files are a director's roster for the National Hemophilia Foundation, brochures on the treatment of hemophilia, copies of articles on hemophilia research, and records pertaining to a patient's grievance with the Youngstown hemophilia center.
