Series Title: Petitions for Constitutional Amendment to allow Women's Sufferage, 1914
Description: The secretary of state holds petitions for Constitutional amendment to allow women,s suffrage. The petitions contain lists of names of people from counties in Ohio who felt it was right to change the Constitution of Ohio to allow women the right to vote. The petitions also contain the ward, precinct and date of each registered voter that signed the petitions from that county. The petitions also verify the name of the person pushing for the Constitutional change with his/her address and the state of compensation for the campaign. The two boxes listed at the end of the container list contain petitions that are oversized and are stored flat. There are thirty two counties represented from these petitions beginning with Allen and ending with Wood.
