LEVI ROGERS TO WORTHINGTON Chillicothe June 21 1813 Sir Some dispute has arisen in this place between Col Campbell and myself which is fully explained by a correspondence submitted to the secretary at war. I wish you to be so good as to look over it -- Col Cambel has taken some extraordinary steps and has employed Dr. Monet for his experience and abilities and refused to speech[?] to do duty in the barack for his want of knowledge I have refered Dr. Monet's medical standing in this place to you to inform the secretary at war how far Col Campbell (if he was compitant) has made a proper Choise in the plan of a surgeon of Reputation & standing I have the honor to be your most Humble & Obedient Servant Levi Rogers Surgeon Hon Thos Worthington 201 |
