The Staff -- the waggon & forage masters there was between 3 & 400 Bushels of Grain I think at least 350 Dollars worth of camp Equipage other expences for provision on the march &c. perhaps 100 Dollars my [illeg.] pay my ends with other expence [illeg.] by Law aboute $500 -- As there has never been a return from Major Kratzers Bat. I Know not the amt Major Swan our representative in Chill [torn] could assist you very much in this business pleas to call on him -- he has privey to the busness of our companies there was difficulty will [illeg.] as to the lenth of time the differents companies served Major Brawers Bat was dismissed by before the rest therefore an exect bill of expences cannot be made oute untill regular returns are made oute -- Accepte Dr Sir my Esteem & regard Jos Foos His Excellency |
