Several famiilies it is said are moving down here from the Settlement up Whitewoman. However unlikely[?] that the hostile Indians have got in the rear of our Troops from New Philad. Mansfield, Mount Vernon, San- dusky plains &c yet we hear of the utmost alarm prevailing, on account of such reports.
