BARCLAY TO HARVEY No. 2 Lady Prevost June 1st 1813 To Colonel Harvey &c &c Sir On my way to Amherstburg I met a person who informed me that the Squadron was anchored at Long Point I instantly altered my route and on arriving here was happy to find at least a part sufficient to convey the Seamen to Amherstburg. As this may alter your arrangements, relative to the part of the 41st. which was in contemplation to send -- I apprize you of it -- and if General Vincent still means to send them by this route I have to re- quest you will advise me of it and I shall send a Vessel for them as soon as possible |
