Scott Traverse Gentn. is appoi- nted a Lieut in the first Regt. of Militia of the County of Hamilton in the Place of Ken- nedy resigned, & Richard Benham an Ensign in the said Regiment & both in the Company of Captain Ludlow - They are to be obeyed & respected accordingly.

December the Second - Commissions were made out, bearing the same Date, for Scott Traverse & Richard Benham agreeably to the foregoing general Order -- Commissions were also made out by his Excellency's Order, for Absolam Martin Esqr. as a Captain, John Williams Lieut. and Richard Carpenter as an Ensign - all in the first Regt. of Militia in the County of Washington -- their Commissions bearing
