Cost: $50 in state, $75 out of state
Outreach visits to the classroom
NHD-OH staff is available to come to your school and present to students on a variety of topics such as: Introduction to NHD, Research Journey, Tips for creating projects. Presentations can be tailored to meet your class needs.
Staff can also provide feedback or consultations with students on their projects.
Cost: $10 per presentation + $0.40 per mile
NHD-OH can provide outreach to your classroom via the internet. Presentations on a variety of topics can be done online for you or your students.
Cost: $10 per webinar presentation
NHD-OH also hosts History Day focused field trips to the Ohio History Center. They can be customized to your schedule and needs. Download a sample agenda here.
There must be 1 chaperone for every 10 students. Please contact the NHD-OH office to schedule a date.
Cost: $4 per student
NHD-OH can organize teacher workshops in your school or district. Topics include:Introduction to National History Day, research skills, tips on creating projects.
